This one of a kind porcelain ceramic mug is individually handmade by the artist.

The "woodgrain" series is the artists central thesis in her work. It is inspired by the everyday telephone pole that one may see on the city streets. The way the pole is debarked and shows all the unique grains in the wood fascinates the artist. Little details that may be seen are "branch nubs" "woodpecker effects" and "chisel effect." The nails, staples, and other man made aspects that are ingrained in the pole intrigues the artist even more. Each "wood-grain piece" also has a custom brown or gray color that is never duplicated.

The woodgrain technique and effect is a signature, in which was developed solely by the artist.

Garfield park is a location where the artist who crafts each of these mugs lives and works.

Each mug is individually handmade by the artist with little different details inspired by one of the oak trees in the park. Please note that the mug you recieve will slightly vary from the one pictured.
