Twisted

The Twisted series is a limited edition to my body of work. It is inspired from a tree in the park near my studio. This tree is a twisting “catalpa” tree which has become debarked and discolored. I related to this trees unique twisting shape because of a difficult trauma I experienced back in 2019. I find comfort in the knowledge that something twisted and tragic can turn into something beautiful.
