This is from one of the artist's favorite series: Birch Tree Series. She is inspired by the unique texture that the bark on the birch trees create, with layers beyond layers that peaks through the trunk and branches. The interior color of the bowls represent the transitioning colors of the leaves throughout the seasons: Spring, Summer,Fall,Winter. The artist took into much consideration to get not only these colors right, but the sizes of the bowls right just so they’d “nest” inside one another.
They are entirely functional as they are made out of durable porcelain clay. That means they are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. Art you can use and perfect for entertaining.
