Wine Barrel

I am inspired by the shape and design the wine/bourbon barrels create. I find it interesting that the wood that was once a thriving tree now has turned into slats of woods. Then, those pieces are wrapped by pieces of man made metal. The tree has transformed into container used to age fine bourbons and wines. I use various organic colors of woods for the barrel portion of the piece and an array metal shades/finishes.
