Vagina Tree

I am very inspired by the time I spend hiking. I use hiking as a way of finding solitude and therapy. I came across this area of trees in an Indiana state forest in spring of 2020. In my observation, they looked vaginas! I was fascinated with the unique texture and formations of these trees and the resemblance they had. In the 10 years of my ceramics career, I had never come across a cluster of trees like these. That is why this is such a rare and popular collection.
